Drops of Jupiter

Good morning! It's been quite some time since I last posted anything here, but lately I have been just too busy doing all these fun things! This week I saw two amazing concerts, by Ben Folds and Switchfoot! Read all about it in my latest Last.fm journal!
The week before one of my Americans friends was in the country for a few days! We had a great time!

Right now listening to Drops of Jupiter. Somehow this cd always reminds me of spring. And even though it's only February, outside it feels like spring as well!

I feel very lucky.

The Ice Storm

Yesterday me and a friend went to the cinema to see The Ice Storm, one of my favorite films that was selected by Dutch director Paula van der Oest for a special movie night. Afterwards she discussed the film and talked about the film she was working on right now. It was quite interesting! I really love to learn more about the creative proces of making movies.

Habla Con Ella

And another week has gone by! Too busy doing fun things, feeling tired and watching beautiful movies, such as Habla Con Ella, My Life Without Me, Perfume and Kruistocht In Spijkerbroek...

Today we had a great storm, but it hadn't really started when I biked to my work and it was already over when I returned home again. ;-)

Almost blue

Time flies when you're having fun. I see I haven't posted anything here since Sunday. ;-) Most of the fun this time was in downloading all the great lp records in my collection that I didn't listen often enough since I started listening most of my music through my computer. But now I have them again! Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, Thin Lizzy, The Replacements and so much more!

Right now listening to Almost Blue by Elvis Costello. Great!
