Record fair...

Last year I was in America and I bought this wonderful cd by Josh Kelley at the local Walmart. Just one week later I saw that it was rereleased with four bonustracks... That was quite a pity. I had the same with the Maroon 5 cd... Both times I did not buy the new version, although I was able to download the Maroon 5 songs.
But today I went to a record fair and there I found the bonuscd that has an acoustic version of that great song Amazing (and also of Smalltown boy) and two new songs! So now I am very happy!!!
It was a great record fair by the way! I bought loads of very cheap cd's, records (though they were not all cheap) and cd-singles. Among others I bought:
Cd's:
Fisherman's woman - Emiliana Torrini
Bloodflowers & Desintegration - The Cure
Garbage - Garbage
Cracked rear view - Hootie & The Blowfish (it had to happen one day... ;-)
Zooropa - U2 (now my collection is complete)
Songs for silverman - Ben Folds
Road apples - The Tragically Hip
Emmerdale - The Cardigans
And also Satellites by Vega 4. I already have that one, but it was only 2 euro's so it will make a great present for someone. It's one of my favorite records...
Lp's:
Here my dear - Marvin Gaye (this one is sooo good!)
Poets heart - Kate Wolf (rather expensive, but amazing singer)
Kiss me kiss me kiss me - The Cure
Crowded House - Crowded House (with one of the most beautiful songs I know: Don't dream it's over)
Cd-singles:
Everything you want - Vertical Horizon (so beautiful)
She's so high - Tal Bachman (love that song!)
Hanging by a moment - Lifehouse
As - George Michael & Mary J Blige
Push - Matchbox Twenty
Bohemian like you - Dandy Warhols
Loser - 3 Doors Down
I'm still here - Johnny Rzeznik (the Goo Goo Dolls singer!)
Closing time - Semisonic (brings me back to Wyoming!)
Back to me - Kathleen Edwards (with a wonderful cover of Tom Petty's A face in the crowd)
Re-Offender - Travis (with 3 new songs!)
Most of these songs have something to do with a very special period in my life. That's why I like to have them as a single.
Well anyway, I will have a lot to listen to the next few months. I really musn't buy more cd's this year...
