Important news
Hey there! Last Friday, while I was biking to work, I got this marvellous idea about how to make this weblog so much more interesting. On my way home after work I pondered over this idea a little more and became determined to work on it as soon as I got home. But, to my great shock, I found out that my internet connection didn't work anymore... :( And not until yesterday could I get on the web again. The good thing was that I had time to finish the last Harry Potter book that I liked very much. I really think it is the best one so far. Right after that I started reading One of ours by Willa Cather, who has become one of my favorite writers. This one is about a guy who grows up as the son of a rich farmer in Nebraska, but has the feeling he doesn't belong there. Furthermore, I watched three movies last weekend: Spider-man, The graduate and The virgin suicides. I had never seen The graduate before, but I thought it was a very cool movie. The virgin suicides is one of my favorites. And Spider-man has Tobey McGuire in it and Kirsten Dunst, so I just had to see it. It's not my favorite genre, but I thought this one was cool. Well, anyway, it wasn't until yesterday before my internet got fixed. Fortunately, I didn't have time to work on my weblog then, because a friend came to have diner and drink wine with me. But now I'm back to tell you that I will work out my idea very soon! It will involve a new introduction to this log and it will become some sort of story. Today, however I have other things to do, like writing and getting some groceries and preparing diner for another friend, so you will have to be patient for a little longer... Since nobody, except some spammers appears to be reading this log, I'm sure you don't mind!
The last thing I want to tell you before I go again is that I'm listening to a very nice indierecord now called Lost in reverly by The Mendoza Line. And of course, that I found a book in the mail this week that I had ordered from England. It's a children's book by Enid Blyton called The faraway tree stories. It was recommended to me once by a very nice girl I used to know and whose advice and recommendations I still value a lot. After reading The wind in the willows I decided that I wanted to read more stories like that, so that's when I ordered this on Amazon. It looks like a fun book to read so I''m looking forward to it! I will keep you posted.
Bye for now.
